Since the games now download into the 360 I need to upgrade my 20gb hard drive. Is 60gb sufficient?

I'm considering the new 250GB Xbox 360 slim or the 120GB PS3 Slim. I like the exclusive games for each consoles and the multiplatforms. I'm just not sure which one is worth buying NOW. They both have good features but can't decide. Which one should I get?

I asked the sales person at the store if I would need more than 20 gb on the Core system or would he recommend the Elite, which has 120gb (I also asked if that size was overkill).

He said the 20 gigs gets eaten up quickly and even the 120 gets full as well. He actually suggested getting the core system as well as the external drive (120gb for 9). That's because of all the maps and expansions you will download for games. I didn't know you could also download movies as well, but I doubt I would use it for that since I like owning DVDs.

So, would you agree with him or do you have a different suggestion? I would appreciate not receiving responses recommending the PS3 because I don't want one of those. I would like to hear from people who like the 360 and their ideas on this. Thank you. >
